Home - Profile - Archives - Friends - Official website - CaptchionaryWhere there's no second chancePosted on February 23, 2010 at 7:22 PM - 0 Comments - LinkNot too far away from video number 100 now. This one is number 97 in the space of almost three years. Pretty soon there is something else that's going to happen that is amazing to me. In a few months time My total video views should pass the ONE MILLION mark. I'm just trying to get my head around that number of plays. Now for the next video. This one is called "If tomorrow never comes" and is most closely associated with Garth Brooks. However, a rather famous Irishman by the name of Ronan Keating also had a hit with it. This is for everyone but especially for all the American friends who have been keeping track of my progress. The land that country music calls home. This is my interpretation. I hope you all like it. I was making one of my regular trips to the post office the other day and there were a number children riding bikes that waited outside and followed me for half of my journey back. As they turned off, one of the children called out a hello to me, using my name! It would seem to me that the only possible way they could have known me is through Youtube because I know absolutely nobody in my local area. I keep myself to myself. All my friends are several miles away. This isn't the only time I've been recognised whilst out. I did some calculations and it seems to make sense. In my county alone it worked out that statistically about 1,000 people would have seen one of my videos! I found it a bit strange when people were looking at me like they knew me and I know for sure that I didn't know them. Leading nicely on to my Youtube Statistics. My subscribers are climbing steadily and are currently at 1770. The total times my channel has been viewed is 39,207. My overall video views are an incredible 932,723. I haven't done much on Youtube recently, so I'm hoping to rectify that by putting together more videos than I did last year. |
